Cody W. Hunter
As a co-founder of The Mid-Continent Companies’ Employee Benefits Practice, Cody Hunter leads a group of professionals who consult with companies throughout the United States on all facets of design, implementation and administration of employer-sponsored benefits programs, with an emphasis on middle-market companies.
Cody is an expert in the design and funding of partially self-funded group medical plans, as well as 401(k) plan design, compliance and administration. He is especially adept in making complex financial subject matters understandable for client-company executives and staff members. Building on a career that began in underwriting and sales for an international insurance carrier, Cody’s unique knowledge and insights are supported by 20 years of experience across all facets of the employee-benefits arena.
Cody joined The Mid-Continent Companies in 2002 and has since overseen the ongoing growth of its employee benefits practice. He is a 1992 graduate of the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, with a degree in business administration and a specialization in finance. Cody is an active member of the Retirement Plan Advisory Group and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Cody is a father of four and is active in his church and youth community activities.
